Operating a relaxed dress code of smart casual, Houghwood is the ideal setting for all occasions. Golf

Houghwood Golf Course plays host to the most magnificent views over the Lancashire plain and Welsh hills. Those who grace the par 71, 6388-yard championship course often leave praising the quality of the course, and beauty of its surroundings. The testing golf course is like no other with its traditional parkland features, infusing the winds that cross the hills that divide Wigan and St Helens.

Houghwood offers a beautiful setting for a wedding that overlooks the North West of England. We pride our wedding service on being exactly as you wish, and our experienced staff is sure to leave you free to savour every minute of your special day. At Houghwood we offer a bespoke wedding service for you, even able to hold a Civil Wedding Ceremony if you desire.
